About Tony Engel
Tony graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Food Business Management and Food Science. He spent five years as an Operations Supervisor at Kroger before pivoting to real estate in 2004. By 2009, he had become a full-time real estate investor, focusing on fix-and-flip projects with Penklor Properties.
Tony’s leadership skills led to his promotion to Vice President of Property Management and Acquisitions at Penklor Realty, where he spent six successful years overseeing over 1,000 single-family transactions.
In 2014, Penklor Realty began expanding into the multi-family sector, culminating in its 2015 merger with Sundance Property Management, LLC. Currently serving as COO and Broker of Record, Tony has played a pivotal role in growing Sundance over his nine years with the company from approximately 2,000 to nearly 10,000 units in 7 different states, including Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee.
