Carter Stephens serves as Managing Director on the Midwest Multifamily Capital Markets team, working alongside Vice Chairman George Skaff and Executive Managing Director Matt Newcomer. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he specializes in multifamily property dispositions across the greater Ohio region. Collectively, the team has facilitated over $12.4 billion in multifamily asset sales to date.
Before joining Newmark, Stephens was Vice President at a leading national brokerage, where he led the expansion of the firm’s multifamily investment sales division throughout central Ohio, with a strong focus on Columbus.
Stephens is actively involved in all facets of the disposition process, including research, business development, underwriting, valuation, contract negotiations, and closing. With more than a decade of experience in investment management and multifamily sales, he offers clients a comprehensive and strategic approach throughout each stage of the transaction.
